Hypercharging Ola Electric has now enabled a faster charging rate on Ola S1 and S1 Pro premium e-scooters. This will enable charging the battery for 50km in mere 15 minutes. Vacation Mode The Vacation Mode in MoveOS 3.0 will allow users to leave their e-scooters unused for up to 200 days without worrying about the battery being deep discharged. Hill Hold Hill Hold Control will help Ola S1 Series scooters on a steep slope. The feature will prevent the scooter from rolling when parked on an incline. Advanced Regenerative Braking The new feature will bring 3 levels of regenerative braking that are designed to suit different riding styles. It will have a Low setting for highway cruising, a default setting for daily commuting, and a high setting for heavy traffic conditions. Party Mode The new party mode will allow users to enjoy music as well as lighting that changes with the beats of the song. Profile MoveOS 3.0 will allow riders to construct their profiles and will allow different riders to save their personalized preferences on the same e-scooter. Documents The new software update will allow users to store their important documents such as Driving Licenses, Aadhar cards, PUC documents, and more and these will be directly accessible from the digital dashboard. Moods The Mood feature will allow S1 users to choose a specific mood that will customize the riding experience and the themes on the 7-inch dashboard. There are 3 moods to choose from- Bolt, Vintage, and Eclipse. Proximity Lock/Unlock This feature will allow the user to go keyless. The e-scooters will automatically detect the user approaching or moving away from the vehicle and will lock/unlock the EV accordingly. The software update will take place in a phased manner. Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has also revealed that the company plans to launch an e-bike in India in 2023. He claims that Ola is confident about coming up with an e-car in India in 2024.
