Maruti Suzuki Swift S-CNG Price and availability
Maruti has priced the Swift S-CNG VXi model at Rs 7.77 lakh while the ZXi model is priced at INR 8.45 lakh. The new Swift S-CNG is also available for a monthly subscription at a fee starting at INR 16,499 all across the country.
Maruti Suzuki Swift S-CNG Features
The new Maruti Swift S-CNG comes equipped with a 1.2-litre K-series Dual Jet Dual VVT engine mill generating 89PS at 6000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 4400rpm. The CNG engine delivers a peak power of 77PS and a torque of 98Nm. The new hatchback is mated to 5-speed manual gearbox only. The company claims to offer a fuel mileage of 30.90km/kg on the CNG. Following the traits of other Maruti Suzuki’s CNG vehicles, the new Swift also features dual interdependent Electronic Control Units with an intelligent injection system. This aims to provide an optimum air-fuel mixture during the fuel filling process. The company employs stainless steel pipes and joints to avoid leakage or corrosion and integrated wiring for short-circuit prevention. It sports chrome garnishing on the grilles, ORVMs, indicators, and LED tail lamps. It has LED projector headlamps with DRLs and alloy wheels. Inside, the Swift hatchback features a coloured multi-information driver cluster, cruise control, SmartPlay Studio with infotainment display, and sporty front seats. ALSO READ: 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto to debut on August 18; specs leaked ahead of launch Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki India said during the announcement, “The brand Swift needs no introduction and the iconic sporty hatchback is now available with proven and tested company-fitted Maruti Suzuki S-CNG technology.” He added, “The Swift S-CNG is the right proposition for customers, looking for a peppy yet economical city drive.” The close rivals of the 2022 Swift S-CNG are Hyundai Santro CNG, Tata Tiago iCNG, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG, Tata Tigor iCNG, and Maruti’s very own WagonR CNG.
