Respawn, the studio behind the game is currently testing the early builds of Apex Legends Mobile with a limited number of players on the Google Play Store. The game will undergo several changes before it is finally released; therefore, it will not be the final version. As a result, some features may work differently or be removed entirely come launch day. Those who accessed the region-specific beta in select regions such as the Philippines and India have so far responded positively to Apex Legends Mobile. The most significant change to the PC and Console versions has been the default third-person perspective. The game quickly shot up Twitch charts to become one of the most popular games on the platform, and it saw similarly impressive numbers on Steam, according to SteamDB. People may dismiss Apex Legends as yet another battle royale, but that would be overlooking its highly innovative gameplay loop and frantic genius. It emphasizes team play and experimentation over everything else than many of its contemporaries. The game is relatively fast-paced compared to its contemporaries.
